How about a map?
Roger's Corvette Center is located at 8675 N. Orlando Ave (Hwy 17-92) in Maitland, Florida, about 18 miles North of Universal Studios. From I-4 take the East Maitland Blvd exit # 90A. Head east on Maitland Blvd for about 3 miles to Hwy 17-92 (Orlando Ave). Bear right and head north on 17-92 for 1 mile to Roger's on your right. Just look for the huge American flag! Go through the gates to the back parking lot next to the lake.

What about food & drink?
Smokey Bones BBQ will be on hand to offer an optional lunch at nominal cost. If you wish, there are several local restaurants nearby, as well. Cold soft drinks and water will also be available throughout the day with proceeds going to The Russell Home. We'll have tents with tables and chairs so you can get out of the sun. Of course, you may bring your own coolers but no alcohol on the premises, please!
What about the Corvette show itself?
The show is open to the public and spectator admission is free, although a donation to the Russell Home would be appreciated. Arm twisting is encouraged! :)

Registration is open to ALL Corvette years and models and we hope to give out a BUNCH of really nice awards. No lame last year's trophies here! At a minimum, there will be separate awards for the following classes: C-5 (1997-2003), C-4 (1984-1996), C-3 (1968-1982), C-2 (1963-1967), and C-1 (1953-1962).

We anticipate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in most classes (depending on the number of entrants) plus Best of Show, several Sponsors Choice awards, and some specialty awards, too. People's Choice Awards will be limited to ONE PER CAR to try to spread the wealth a bit (e.g., the Best of Show car will not also receive a 1st place class award). There will even be an outrageous "Most Awesome Corvette on the Planet" award which we guarantee every attendee will have equal opportunity to go home with! All judging decisions are final. This ain't an NCRS Bloomington Gold show, folks. Lets concentrate on having fun!

The show will be judged based on People's Choice... secret ballots cast by attendees... so bring your friends and bribe them! Sponsors Choice awards will be awarded at the discretion of our major sponsors (hey, its their money). There will be other specialty awards, too. Odds of winning are pretty durn good!

An area will be set aside for limited car washing purposes. Please be courteous and share.

Restrictions? Not many. First and foremost, no alcohol is allowed on the premises. No horseplay in or out of the cars. No vendors allowed on site with the exception of Lusso Wax who will be giving car care seminars during the show. And sorry, no "Car For Sale" signs of any kind will be permitted. Play nice and have fun!

What's this about 'Fun & Games?'
Sorry, you'll have to be here to appreciate it! :)
What's going on Saturday night?
After the awards presentation at Roger's (hopefully concluding by 4:00 PM), we'll give folks a chance to go clean up and then meet us at 7:30 PM at the Race Rock Cafe on International Drive (see map, above). We have reserved space in the front of the restaurant for up to 10 of the day's show winners to display their pride and joy to the drooling tourists (bring your chamois). Seating inside the Race Rock is very limited but they will group us together as best they can. You must RSVP for the Race Rock function when you check in at the car show.

After stuffing ourselves with "RPM Burgers" and the like, some of us may take a detour over to the Fun Spot for some hot go kart action, depending on the weather and the crowds. Lets play it by ear.
How do I register?
Click here for a registration form to print out, fill in, and mail along with your check or credit card info.

Early Registration is only $15.00 per Corvette. Day of show (at the door) registration is $18.00. You may register at the event given space available but early registration is highly recommended. All profits from the event will be donated to our favorite charity, The Russell Home for Atypical Children of Orlando.

With each paid registration, you will receive a cool event t-shirt, dash plaque, and a doorprize ticket. Additional t-shirts, dash plaques, and doorprize tickets will be available for sale at the event.

Smokey Bones BBQ will cater lunch for the event at nominal cost. Cold soft drinks and water will be available throughout the day. Entertainment will be provided by our on-site DJ (50's-60's music is mandatory!). Roger's showroom will also be open allowing visitors the opportunity to examine Roger's personal collection of rare and high performance Corvettes up close and personal... including the hyper-rare 1969 ZL-1!

Got any Door Prizes?

We have a good selection of nice doorprizes we will be giving away to registered entrants every few minutes during the show. Of course, you may increase your odds of winning by purchasing additional doorprize tickets. We also have some really great and fairly valuable charity auction items donated from multiple vendors and organizations. The charity auction will take place just prior to the awards ceremony with 100% of the proceeds going to The Russell Home. We will also have a 50-50 drawing and perhaps other activities, again to raise money for The Russell Home.
What about Hotels?
If you are coming from out of town, we have arranged a special rate at the Comfort Inn, 8245 S. US Hwy 17-92, Fern Park, FL 32730. This hotel is nearby our facility and offers a host of amenities. Roger's Cruise-In participants qualify for the special room rate of $49 per night. Call 407-339-3333 and ask for Caroline for reservations.
Tell me about the Russell Home charity
The Russell Home for Atypical Children is the favorite charity of most Corvette, Rod, and Motorcycle clubs here in Central Florida. Loved by all, this amazing 89 year "young" woman has been caring for aytpical children for over 50 years... in her own home and without a penny of Government assistance. In fact, she is still caring for that first foster child she took in back in 1949, now a 50+ year old woman with cerebal palsy. No wonder she has been called America's Mother Theresa.

In 1995, Mrs. Russell received a national award presented by the Caring Institute, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded to honor and promote the values of caring, integrity, and public service. Inspired by the example of Mother Teresa, the Institute believes that the solution to most problems is the caring of one human being for another. The Caring Institute celebrates those special individuals who, in transcending self, devote their lives in service to the disadvantaged, the poor, the disabled, and the dying. Mrs. Russell has lived her entire life devoted to these principles. All who know her love her. We sure do!
